The Mat-Su YMCA started with a small group of volunteers over 12 years ago. In 2018 the YMCA of Alaska commissioned an Advisory Board for the Mat-Su YMCA and to begin program development. The Mat-Su YMCA provides a before and after school program at Tanaina Elementary, Day Camp Programs and swim Lessons.
